ਮਾਨਸ ਜਨਮ ਦੁਲੰਭ ਹੈ ਬਾਛਿਤ ਸੁਰ ਸਿੱਧ ਬ੍ਰਿੰਦ ।।⁣

Human life is arduous to obtain; the Gods and Siddhas all long for it. ⁣

ਭਾਗ ਬਡੇ ਤੇ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਾਨਸ ਜਨਮ ਸੁਖਿੰਦ ।।੧।।⁣

With great fortune human life, the kingdom of happiness, is obtained. ⁣
