Those Taking Amrit were King of Kings

Those people who were oppressed, forced to do labour by the Turks, who would forever submissive in their service

Those [oppressed people] taking Khande Di Pahul adorned themselves with weapons and were made the King of Kings. Due to the magnificence of the Guru, the oppressors had no say over them

If anyone spoke even a little harshly [to the Singhs], grasping their weapons the Singhs would destroy such enemies. This is the power within Khande Di Pahul, forever increasing in numbers were these Singhs equipped with weapons

Those extremely poor oppressed people now, as warriors, don't even take one step back in battle. Those who knew nothing about cleanliness have become more pure than even Brahmins

Those whose lineage was filled with great fools, who were totally illiterate, studying and learning [from Singhs] have become great scholars, of which no other can intellectually match.

Such is the Grace of the True Guru, Gobind Singh, which was bestowed across time to all castes. Making jackals into tigers [from cowards to brave], and teaching crows how to be like swans [from dirty to elegant]
